If there had been no winter, Soviet people wouldn't have known what sleighs or Snegurochkas were! Children wouldn't have kicked pucks around in their yards or had snowball fights! Families wouldn't have prepared for the New Year holidays! And our entire country wouldn't have gathered around television screens when our athletes won gold medals at the Olympics! Oh, how wonderful winter was in the USSR!
