Tales from the Old Continent - 02 Blue Knight
This was the first track I produced with a clear intent in my mind about the whole project and I find it to be quite representative of the album. Blue Knight (“der Blaue Reiter”) was also the name of a group of European artists in the 1910s lead by Wassily Kandinsky, wich I consider a strong cultural and artistic influence. In particular as regards their thoughts on the spiritual role of arts, the connections between music and visual arts, and the interest for the medieval world.
