One small correction: You have to roll the grab attack in Phase 2 -- if you get hit by it once, it's ok. If you get hit by it twice, you'll instadie. Besides that, block away!
Talismans and build can be seen at various points in the video although besides the turtle talisman, they genuinely do not matter. Level wise, all you want is to have 60 vigor, 50 endurance, strength for whatever shield you want to use, and the dexterity to wield the Antspur Rapier.
