It has also been 3 months since I decided to make a hack and slash game in Unity's game engine. I set a limit of only one week to make the super polished 2d game. I failed. Please subscribe so you can see me finally adding all the levels and THE BOSS FIGHT!

● Description

I've made 2 games so far using Unity's game engine. One of them was a tower builder simulator or tower builder game combined with a platformer. The other game is complicated to explain but you were basically a ball. But, for this game, I was just making a hack and slash and I took inspiration from a different studio that made a hack and slash game for pc. I'm joking, I copied many different game styles. Of course, like usual, its a super polished 2d game. Watch the video for more information but basically... Creating epic end game boss or making an epic end for the game took a long time so I had to make ends meet differently because apparently making a hack and slash game is much harder than anticipated. It almost became like the tower builder for androids game that I tried making but I chose not to quit. There is a character combat system, obviously I was drawing game assets myself, and I made a character controller for the player. However my assets weren't great and I needed better game assets so I may or may not have cheated 😏.

Prologue:
I was learning unity game development basics when I thought it would be fun to record my unity game development progress. And after watching a lot of tutorials about how to develop 2d games in unity, animating, making shaders, and trying to learn unity to get a grasp of how unity in 2D works and how unity in 3D works. It was pretty much the unity game development basics. This video is similar to another video by Barji and he made a manhunt game: I Turned Manhunt Into a Multiplayer Game! But Drawing game assets myself is definitely something I want to check out because it was pretty fun to do it and i could make better game assets. I will update the game and allow the character to jump all around the screen and I made a character controller already so it shouldn't be to hard so I will try implementing touch controls. I would also upload to play store and learn how the mobile game market works. But if you like the this game then you should definitely go play it https://vendo.itch.io/. Maybe by the time your reading this i would have implemented ads to make money so that I can make money from the game and turn it into a mobile game in unity for money but the game is made in the unity game engine and I had only one day to make the game so its not a super polished 2d game. But it would be nice to see how much money you can make from android games using Unity's game engine. Still reading? Okay. I tried a lot of different games ideas but still have to learn how to make 3d games and how unity in 3D works in Unity's game engine and make a finished 3d game. So subscribe and like the damn video.
