DFX: 'Design for Manufacturing'

When product designers optimize products for manufacturability the product needs to have a single and clear manufacturing method. In order to avoid issues before they even happen, it's better to use parts from qualified and approved suppliers to ensure quality and performance. Before starting, manufacturing equipment should also be calibrated, tested, and ready for use, and the operators should be well-trained.
