Cancer remains a leading cause of death globally, and innovative research is crucial in the fight against this devastating disease. To combat this, researchers from the National Cancer Center, Korea, have launched the Patient-Derived Organoids (PDOs) Hub, which aims to establish a comprehensive model of tumor organoids from pancreatic, biliary tract, liver, colorectal, breast, gastric, ovarian, and oral cancers. By pairing these organoids with detailed clinical and molecular data, researchers gain a powerful resource to study pathophysiologic mechanisms and develop precision medicine strategies.
We are excited to share the successful application of our cutting-edge Holotomography technology at the NCC Organoid hub. Our technology allowed the researchers to analyze the morphological characteristics of PDOs and their response to drug treatments.
