Can we Get Vertical Slabs in Minecraft?!?

Basically I thought that if we use piston and two stairs like in thumbnail and give signal to it so can we get vertical slabs with it?

Well we cannot make vertical slabs with this design because there are no Vertical slabs in the game so this design does not work hope that Minecraft will add vertical slabs in the game so new decorations can be MADE!
They just changed there logo but not what change we have wanted from a LONG TIME!
