Scars Of Time - Chrono Cross Cover

Got some Chrono Cross for you this time! Dustin is a big fan of this series, and a real labor of love from him, so here's a little blurb from the man himself:
"Chrono Cross was one of the games that defined a lot of my late childhood. It was deep, the cast of characters memorable, and the concept of multiple, parallel worlds was exceptionally well done. I played Chrono Cross before ever even touching its predecessor, Chrono Trigger. One of these days I'd love to go back to Chrono Cross with the knowledge that I have now from playing Chrono Trigger. There's probably a lot that I missed!
When it came time to select our next cover, I suggested Scars of Time on a whim, as I saw the copy of it in Frank's collection. I've heard that song about a billion times and the opening cinematic is burned into my brain. I was drawn into this cover mainly from the bass lick that starts in the fast part of the song. It's simple, but so groovy (and a good exercise on ghost notes!)
Also, as a production note, I originally recorded all of this song with my Jazz Bass, a Seafoam Green model that I have strung up with flatwound strings. I figured it'd be perfect to use for a slower song that needed some more roundness to the bass sound. I used my five string Carvin for the very end of the song since I needed the B strings and when Frank and I were listening back, we noticed that with the front pickup slightly favored that it just sounded AWESOME. So I wound up re-recording the entirety of my bass track with my Carvin! There is one little bit of the Jazz bass in the song that remains, but where is up for you to find!
