Happy Hunger Games!
Hello everyone,
Soph here with an actual video about a fandom. I'm sorry, I know that I've been uploading a lot of videos about my personal life etc on this channel while this is not what you subscribed me for, but I just had a lot of inspiration with my real life friends lately. Anyway, I hope this video makes up for it and I promise I'll upload more soon :)
This week I didn't have internet (it's like living in a cave, I swear) And I started reading the hunger games for the second time & that's when I was reminded how much I love the hunger games (movie & books) I actually read all 3 of them in like 4 days so haha :p After reading the books I'm actually even more excited for catching fire to come out, yaaay!
I've seen a lot of thg videos and most of them are about Katniss, Peeta or about the couple. In this video I tried not to focuss on Katniss & Peeta too much. Yess I know that's what the hunger games triology is all about, but I really wanted to focuss on what the hunger games really is. (I haven't really seen videos like that yet) I tried to focuss on how unfair they are, how the hunger games cost the life of innocent people.
I couldn't cut out Katniss completely but I really tried to focuss on the whole picture, on all of the tributes and the process they had to go through. At the end I tried to make it seem like Katniss is the only winner, nooo not because I want Peeta dead (I love him waay to much for that) but like I said. I wanted to focuss on the games & how they are in their normal circumstances (with one winner, without the whole Mockingjay thingy).
I really hope I managed to do that & that you will like this video. I'm pretty proud of it! I think the process of the video is pretty clear:
Everyone is afraid for the reaping, to be chosen
Everyone goes to the reaping (still in fear)
The reaping itself: Peeta & Katniss are tributes
Saying goodbye
Preparing for the games: showing off to the tributes the world (especially the capitol)
On the hovercraft
The games
The victimes
The winner (in this case Katniss)
