Hi everyone, no word salad today I'm just not going to bother with the SEO stuff. Instead I'll talk about how this video covers something personal to me. I've had a mostly solo Minecraft server for over a decade now and over the years I've added onto it bit by bit. Its seen several iterations and modifications over the years. It's an example of how my building methods and styles have evolved, not to mention how my methods of play have changed over time.For the longest time I chose to keep this server to myself and not use it for entertainment purposes. I was keeping a super hard line between the Minecraft I played for myself and the Minecraft I played for a viewing audience. That eventually changed back in 2018 with the Twin Towns series, but it was a long seven year road to reach that point. Now the series exists in a hybrid state, both for video purposes as well as for my own pleasure. It's still mostly for pleasure, but nonetheless the effects of utilizing it for making videos has led to a refinement for how I view it. Where I once only thought about the larger world story sporadically now ideas brim in my mind with new locations and settlements coming into focus as my imagination takes hold. There are already builds underway that I didn't show off in this tour with meaty story behind them, and still new ideas blossom in my mind while I scramble to scribble them down lest I forget them mere moments after they appear. So many ideas and nowhere near enough time to build them all, much less make use of them for series or one off videos. Which is what brings me to patreon. Because many of these ideas and locations wouldn't really fit into a series or serve the purpose of the larger story I'm still in the process of telling (you didn't think Rebuilding Solutions was the end of it did you?) I've decided that any additional builds that I imagine up, will be chronicled in what are effectively journal or blog entries on my Patreon. In essence, as I create new builds, the CEO of Strife Solutions will periodically update his journal about discovering or building new things across the world. Some projects may be spoken of after they're complete, while others will be ongoing as they develop. The entire point here is that, even if the story or world building doesn't help or extend any particular video, I still want to share how it modifies this world. Currently I don't have any of these posts written, nor will they be forthcoming till I actually build something. However, if you want some material to chew on that's already available, I wrote what is effectively a Novella about William Strife the CEO dealing with escaped test subjects during a facility lockdown. It's my first attempt at writing extended lore and you can find it as numbered chapters on my Patreon linked above.
