Bad Dreams: What to Do When You See Them? / Advice / Saaduyev M-Rasul
According to the hadith, a person who has an unfavorable dream should:
Know that it is a dream from Satan, who wants to cause sadness, and should not attach any significance to such a dream.
Ask Allah for help from Satan and say, "A'udhu billahi minash-shaytanir-rajim" - "I ask Allah for help (protection) from Satan."
Seek Allah's help from the evil of the dream.
Spit three times to the left.
Do not talk about such a dream.
Turn over. So, if a person slept on their left side and had a bad dream, they should turn over to their right side, and vice versa.
Get up and pray.
