Dynablaster (Arcade) - 1 Credit Challenge
In this video, I am doing a 1 Credit Challenge of a game that I remembered playing various versions on handhelds, consoles and computers. That game is: Dynablaster for the Arcade. This arcade version was developed by Irem and published by Hudson Soft, it was released in 1991. Dynablaster (Europe) is also known as: Atomic Punk (US) or Bomberman (Japan). For this run: I am playing alone on how far I can get on 1 credit. The player must defeat all the enemies on screen to advance to the next level. Unlike most Bomberman titles, the exit does not need to be found to advance. Power-ups reset to their default abilities on each stage with items being readily available at the start of each boss fight. There are six stages in each world and six worlds in total. This mode can support up to 4 players in co-op (2 players in the Japanese version). About my run on the arcade version of Dynablaster (European version): The game can be quite tough, because of the enemies or getting killed by a bomb. After a lot of practice, I got pretty far on 1 credit, but unfortunately I got game over at world 2-4. At least I am happy with my end score on this one. Overall, Dynablaster (aka Atomic Punk or Bomberman, which version you're playing) is a fun game and if you haven't played one of those Bomberman type of games, including the arcade version?
