Donna was signed by American Music to sing demos in 1962 at age 15. Other artists on their roster at the time were Glen Campbell, Johnny Rivers, Hal Blaine, Frank Gorshin and Jimmy Bowen. Ms. Loren was the company’s first recording artist and this record was their first production on the Crest label. In addition, this was the first time that Donna recorded under the Donna Loren name. The record was produced by Jimmy Bowen (his first production), arranged by Gene Page and recorded at Goldstar Studios in Hollywood. Written by Billy Page, arranger Gene Page’s brother. Backed by the Wrecking Crew with Glen Campbell playing lead guitar. Glen also co-wrote the B side, "I’m So Lonely". This 'risque' song was 'banned in Boston' upon release.

Donna Loren was the one-and-only "Dr Pepper Girl" from 1963 to 1968. She was signed to a long-term contract with the soft-drink company to sing all television and radio commercials, do all magazine and billboard advertising representing them in every capacity, sometimes sharing the spotlight with American Bandstand's Dick Clark. This relationship led to her touring in Dick Clark's Caravan of Stars with other popular acts like Diana Ross and The Supremes and singing solos in the popular Beach Party films starring Annette Funicello and Frankie Avalon. Later, she became the regular female vocalist on the popular 60's American live rock n roll TV show "Shindig" and she appeared in singing and acting roles in many iconic TV shows like Batman, The Monkees, Gomer Pyle, The Mothers-In-Law, Red Skelton, Milton Berle and various game shows. In the 60's she released 20 singles and an LP. Her latest CD entitled "Love It Away" is her first new music in years. Hear it at http://www.DonnaLoren.com.
