Leptospira (Part 2) - Veterinary Bacteriology and Mycology
In this lecture, we discuss the genera Leptospira, an important pathogen of many animal species as well as people. I'll cover the basic microbiological characteristics, taxonomy, virulence factors, common clinical presentations, sample collection and diagnostic strategies, zoonotic potential and treatment options for these organisms.
