RP4K Elite 1-on-1 C++ - Open-Ended Class Preview
RP4K instructor Gabe D. works 1-on-1 with an elite level student in our Open-Ended program to create their own game using RP4K's C++ Game Engine as a starting point.
Students who excel at programming are challenged to design and build their own game, complete with project management using Git. Students are encouraged to choose between SDL2 or SFML, and can also include Box2D!

In Open-Ended courses, students are capable programmers able to choose their preferred coding language, programming environment setup, and game design.
Students meet with the instructor at the beginning of the course to set expectations based on time and ability, to determine the scope of the game and required concepts to be covered along the way.
Experienced programmers are encouraged to go above and beyond, utilizing resources like Git to both manage the project tasks and to store the project in a repository.
