Kuukiko | Warmth of a Memory - Emotional Orchestral Music
This is a track inspired by my love for coming of age anime. I tried to capture the bittersweet feeling of looking back on the good old times through music. I hope I was able to give it justice with this piece. I hope you enjoy it ^^ I came up with a little story while making this too! Little story I came up with:
A woman lay down on her bed filled with exhaustion from the day at work. It was supposed to be her dream job, yet she felt a sense of emptiness. At that moment, something caught her eye and she went over to take it. It was none other than the photo album her and her friends from high school put together. She opened it and browsed through the pages. She was reminded of all the fun things, the pain, the sadness, and the love, but most of all, the warmth. On the final page, there lay a group picture of them on their graduation day filled with smiles and a small note that read... "I won't forget"
She was filled with a bittersweet feeling knowing that these moments will now only remain in memories. However, this also gave a newfound courage to her. At the end of the day, she is who she is now because of the past. She closed the book and smiled. She was given courage by the warmth of a memory.
