In this video, I show how to use the "Pick Locator" tool of the Playwright to quickly generate locators for any element of the web application. Also I show some of the limitations and edge cases of this tool.
You can use the Pick Locator tool in VS Code using the Playwright plugin or in Playwright UI mode.
The Petclinic application shown in this video is used by out students for the practice assignments at Bondar Academy.
