The Nintendo Switch isn't exactly a powerhouse. That's why game ports for it constantly cut graphics, cut lighting, and most importantly, cut resolution. Or they make it so dynamic, with barely any anti-aliasing, that it feels like you're playing in a sauna, with your glasses fogged up.
The Switch's processor and GPU are simply boosted when docked, significantly increasing both performance and power consumption. This results in a more stable resolution and higher graphics settings.
But what if you don't play on a TV and prefer a portable console, want better graphics, and are willing to sacrifice battery life?
That's what I'll tell you about now, and I'll not only tell you how to boost the graphics to the dock's level, but also show you how to make them much better.
