Gold Coast Late Night Surface Mission || Tarpon On A Duo Realis Pencil
A late night surface fishing mission took me to a special spot on the Gold Coast chasing these energetic, acrobatic fish. My weapon of choice tonight was the Duo Realis Pencil. Id cast it out and do a slow walk the dog action. Was 3/4 into my slow retrieve when the Tarpon smashed my lure and took off. After a quick few flips and runs, I had him on shore. Still so cool you can chase these bad boys in almost pitch black conditions.
