With the Direct-to-Cell service, satellites will now be able to directly provide signals to your regular mobile phones, allowing you to send messages, make calls, and use data via satellite on your standard mobile devices.
This service is currently in experimental stages and is set to officially launch in 2025. However, it's already possible to send messages with this service, and calling and data usage will be available soon within 2025.
