Tanigawadake Ropeway in Winter | Mt. Tanigawa in thick snow
From the Tanigawadake Ropeway in Gunma Prefecture, you can enjoy wonderful mountain views throughout the four seasons. In winter, they offer the exceptionel snowy scenery. From summer to autumn, it is recommended to take the Tenjin Pass Pair Lift to access to the mountain climbing course starting at Tenjintouge Station. It is a two and a half hour course to the summit of Mount Tanigawa (Tanigawadake). In winter season, you can enjoy skiing and snowboarding.
