Hey, guys. It's been a few months since I've last posted. To be honest, this channel was starting to head in a direction that I didn't want to take it. And for that reason, I shut down, creatively. I began to even despise the process of editing videos. I know... Crazy, right? How could I hate something that I love so much? After all, Filmmaking IS my passion. That's what this channel is about.
It wasn't till recently, (about 3 weeks ago) that I stumbled upon a new video that one of my FAVORITE creators uploaded. It was titled " The Trip that Changed the Way I Make Art Forever" by Gawx Art. Now, It's been a while since I've watched one of his videos. But before clicking on it, I knew what level of production quality and passion I could expect going into this video. But some how, someway, I was STILL stunned by how much he has leveled up his skills just over the course of a year. In this same breath, I also stumbled upon Ryan NG's channel, who is such a brilliant story teller. His attitude towards the "Mr. Beastification of YouTube and its algorithm is such a NEEDED statement at this time in the world of content creation. So here's to you, Gawx, and Ryan. And all of the other "YouTube new wave" creators. You've inspired another dumb and naive filmmaker, to get back to work and share their ideas, MY ideas, through the power of story telling despite what the algorithm or haters think or say.
Fast forward to last week. Me and my wife love to go to Chicago. We try to go every year if we can. It's one of our favorite places in the world, actually. The atmosphere, the people, the food, and the coffee is much better than in Michigan dare I say. But this most recent trip has been MY OWN Trip that will change the way I make art forever. Everyone just does their own thing. Vibe their own vibe, create the way they want to create. Not the way the algorithm tells them to create. So no more basic ass face cam videos. You all deserve better than that. And I AM better than that. I have so much I want to say to you all.
