Bank Files into Arturia’s Emulator II V. On the original Emulator II
hardware sampler in 1984 a patch bank was the information stored on a floppy
disk. It contained the samples and all the other information for making
a patch. The Arturia Emulator II V treats these files as sample
containers. It seems to ignore most if not all of the other patch data. On
some of the .Arturia EII V VST will read the
key mappings, envelopes, and more. On others it reads none of that
just the samples. Please keep this in mind. Maybe someday Arturia will
fix that, until then remember it’s a feature not a bug.
