On Monday, May 25, Christian Cooper asked Amy Cooper to leash her dog that was off-leash in an area where that was against the rules. The confrontation resulted in Amy Cooper calling the cops to tell them that an "African-American man" was threatening her and her dog. No one got hurt, and Christian wasn't arrested, but Amy has faced consequences for her actions. Some are questioning why it's such a big deal in the first place if no one got hurt and nothing tragic happened.
