The first one to name is Virginia Woolf. A prolific English writer, Virgina was born in London in 1882. She had a literary upbringing under her parents wing. But they died when she was young, and so did Virginia's brother. All this affected her mental health traumatically. Nonetheless, the body of work Virginia has left behind is a legacy in itself - volumes of essays, diaries, and novels. Her most famous novels are Mrs. Dalloway (1925), To the Lighthouse (1927), Orlando (1928), A Room of One's Own (1929), and The Waves (1931).
