Content ID and its Discontents
Last week's video was blocked by YouTube's Content ID system. Content ID goes far beyond what is required by law to ensure copyright infringement is not happening on YouTube. In this video, I look at what the law requires, what Content ID is, some of the problems Content ID creates, and ways Content ID could be fixed.
