This game book titled "Mastering Tactics" includes 15 scenarios centered on Marine Corps Operations. With the apparent popularity of the Worthington and Lambo game books, I ran across this in my files. It is worthy of a look to see how professional training can be accomplished in a game format. Also included in the support material is information about units, weapons and military terminology. This game uses no dice or other elements of chance. These scenarios are plans you design based on the demands of the situation and after a certain amount of time is up you evaluate the results. This requires some honesty on the solo players part to get the most from this.
