Revenant will be very slow when not targeting a player. When it gains line of sight of a player however, it will become very fast. Very distinct, slow footsteps when not targeting a player. The best way to determine if you have a revenant is through the hunt.
FACT: Previously the revenant was both the fastest and slowest ghost in the game. However currently Moroi is the fastest, and Deogen is the slowest.
