Two systems, eight manufacturers, prices from 51 to 199 Swiss francs. "Kassensturz" tested 16 child bike seats in cooperation with the Touring Club Switzerland (TCS) and its German counterpart, ADAC.

There's always a risk involved when you have a child on a bike – a safe child seat is therefore a worthwhile investment. Some seats cause children to be jostled around, while others fail due to prohibited harmful substances in the harness pads.
