Happy 27th birthday, Sonic the Hedgehog
For 27 years, Sonic has had a long list of games, comics etc. The series struggled a lot during the mid and late 2000s with mediocre to terrible titles like Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic 06 (although I like that game) and especially Sonic Unleashed, but he finally got back on the right track with Sonic Colors and Sonic Generations. Even though the Sonic fanbase might be terrible, and even though Sonic will never be the big gaming icon he once was, he's still had a major impact on gaming as a whole.
