Attending The New Zealand Pokémon Special Event! (2019)
I'm taking a break from TCG openings to catch up with footage I didn't get around to editing and putting together for you all sooner, due to PokeCollection's 10th Birthday activities, an entire rebrand, the release of Detective Pikachu at the time and life in general. So I'm making the most of New Zealand's COVID-19 lockdown to catch up and spread a bit of joy!
Considering all Pokémon events for 2020 are now cancelled, it's going to be a fair while until we'll all be able to attend any official Pokémon event, so enjoy the videos to come which will hopefully make up for a lack of events this year.
This footage was taken at the New Zealand Pokémon Special Event in June 2019 which took place at Card Merchant West City. Our annual Nationals tournament was replaced by Regionals, which in turn became our Special Event and the turnout was awesome.
