Healing and tanking Mythic+ can feel like babysitting chaos sometimes.
People run into mechanics, blame “game-breaking bugs,” panic-pull extra packs, or somehow find the one mob in the dungeon that makes everyone regret logging in. But honestly? That’s also where some of the best runs happen.
I don’t like taking the elitist angle seriously. Everyone starts somewhere, and this group actually had a lot going right. The tank did a solid job overall. The main issue was pathing, a few extra pulls, some aggressive pack choices, and a little bit of nerves/lack of communication.
But that’s the point: nothing really held this group back skill-wise. We adapted, stabilized, and cleared it.
Also, yes… Monk is extremely strong right now, and dungeons feel pretty forgiving at the moment. That definitely helps.
Things to watch for:
The mobs before each boss seem to have at least one giant “delete your group” ability, so make sure you have defensives, interrupts, and healing CDs ready.
Also, pay close attention to the miniboss between boss 1 and boss 2. It seems to have a pretty wide aggro range. I’m still not fully sure what caused the pull here, but by the time we noticed, mistakes had already stacked up fast.
Somehow, we still crawled out alive.
Mostly.
Enjoy.
