Hurricane Mountain Adirondacks
This is the footage I got from Hurricane and Big Crow Mountains in the Adirondacks. Hurricane Mountain Fire Tower is a great hike for intermediates. There are a couple different ways to hike this mountain, in this video I hiked via the northern approach. This is also where you'll find the Big & Little Crow trailhead. Hurricane via the northern approach is about 6 miles with about an 1,500ft elevation gain. Big Crow is great for beginners and is a little over a mile round trip with a 600ft elevation gain. If you add Little Crow it is a total of 3.5 miles round trip with about 1,500ft of elevation gain.
