📖 DEPENDING SOLELY ON GOD | James 4:13–17
We live making plans, organizing the future, and making decisions as if everything depended on us. But James confronts us with a clear truth: our life is short and is in God's hands (James 4:14).
This message is a call to change our perspective: it's not about stopping planning, but about learning to depend. To say with our hearts, "If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that" (James 4:15). Because when God directs, our steps have purpose and security.
We are also challenged not to remain merely in our intentions, since knowing what is right and not doing it is sin (James 4:17). Dependence on God is not passive; it is an active life of obedience.
