How music therapy helps Stephen
Thanks to players of People's Postcode Lottery, last year we received a grant of £250,000, allowing us to offer jobs to newly-qualified music therapists on our Graduate Employment Scheme. One of the people that has been helped by our graduates is Stephen, who is living with advanced dementia and is a resident at Jewish Care's Betty and Asher Loftus Centre where he has been having regular music therapy sessions with Kate.
