Alatreon- No Armor HH Solo(TA wiki rules)
This is a no armor challenge run for fun, not a speedrun. But TA Wiki rules was applied to the challenge (no mantles, wallbangs, palico, slinger & utility items). This challenge run was given to me by @Vellasky, so he set the rules for this.
The first 10 seconds (self buffing) was cut off because Nvidia instant replay can record a MAX of 20 mins, and the run ended at 19mins (plus I need to show the end screen for timer). Still kinda my fault since it could end faster if I played better and choked less 🤣
Run is not perfect and obviously had quite some mistakes, especially starting from the middle towards the end because of 3 main reasons:
1. Starting mid run I needed to juggle between the HH buffs expiry, consumables, sharpness, and managing his rage mode (I don't have overlay info for all these). Had to sacrifice openings to maintain buffs and other stuff. My poor brain could not multitask, so it's a skill issue
2. Playing safer than usual to reduce risk of dying, cause I have no armor.
3. I am losing focus and starting to get nervous as the run goes longer, I'm only human after all, and I haven't been playing MH recently. I came back to de-rust after seeing the Wilds trailer.
Without armor, anything touching me would mean death, except for Escaton & fire puddles (fixed damage). DPS is also much lower without armor since there's no armor skills like attack and crit, and some openings you cannot tank and punish. Charm is allowed so I used evasion charm to make life easier. There's definitely a lot of room to improve on this run, but it's for fun, I don't wanna get stressed over it.
