We have some exciting news to share about our little bear cub, Tanie!
Thanks to a collaboration with the French and Latvian authorities, we have developed a plan for our beloved cub, who was rescued from the wild in Latvia where she wouldn't have survived on her own.
This isn't the end of Tanie's journey yet, but a crucial step in her rehabilitation. In the coming months, Tanie will undergo an intensive period of preparation for life in the wild here at La Tanière, with the goal of finally being released back into the wild in her native Latvia in September or October.
