Few months back I explored with reaction diffusion algorithm. I made this simple web app to tweak the parameters for the diffusion of chemicals.
There is a lot to improve on and a lot of parameters I have not even tried yet.
This was heavily inspired by karl sim's interaction demo "rdtool".
