Welcome back to Day 7 of the Breaking Par Challenge!
This one was a rollercoaster.
As a 7 handicap, I played from the black tees on one of the toughest courses out there — and my long game was insanely good today. Fairways, greens, ball striking… all locked in. It honestly felt like I was on the verge of something special.
But then came the greens. And the putter. And the frustration.
Let’s just say my Scotty Cameron might not survive this series — I’m seriously considering switching to a LAB putter after today.
This round was the definition of golf heartbreak: elite tee-to-green performance completely undone by a cold putter.
