What is new in Golang 1.23? Go 1.23 biggest change is the implementation of "Range over func" a way to implement standard iterators that work with the "for" and "range" keywords; but there's more than than! Please review the official release notes for more details.

There are a lot of features, but there are six I want to call out:

■ Range over func implementation
■ New "unique" package
■ New "iter" package
■ 9 new functions added to the "slices" package to support iterators
■ 5 new functions added to the "maps" package to support iterators
■ 2 minor changes: "slices.Repeat" and "net/http.Request.Pattern"
