I was delighted to have acquired the 12-inch Powerbook G4 laptop in near-mint condition, albeit it required thorough cleaning. I am absolutely fond of it. The former owner confirmed its efficient functionality. Remarkably, it serves as a DVD player and supports classic games such as Max Payne, which is quite extraordinary for a device that is over 21 years old. Although I am content with its thermal performance, I am contemplating whether reapplying new thermal paste would enhance it, considering some reports indicate an 8°C reduction in temperature.

You'll notice the iBook has a certain amount of memory built in that cannot be removed. This varies from 128 to 512 megabytes.
All G4 models will accept up to a one-gigabyte module, which means the maximum memory any iBook G4 can hold is 1.5 gigabytes.
