How to install Ubuntu Server 14.04 Trusty Tahr?
This video shows you how to install Ubuntu Server 14.04 Trusty Tahr with SSH, Linux Apachae MySQL PHP (LAMP), and Samba server.

1. Download the latest release from here: http://releases.ubuntu.com/14.04/
2. Write the image to a CD or a USB Drive
3. Boot your computer with the CD or your USB drive
4. Follow this video and the instructions below.
My recommendation for a Ubuntu Server 14.04 Trusty Tahr home server installation:
Choose automatic security updates
OpenSSH (if you want to be able to remotely administer your server)
LAMP Server (if you want to run a webserver)
Samba File Server
Partition Structure:
You may choose to install Ubuntu Server 14.04 in just one partition or more (advanced).
For a simplicity, just 1 partition is best. But if you want to make your Trusty Tahr installation future proof then I suggest having home folder on a separate partition.
