Plex Docker Compose: Hardware Transcoding on Proxmox LXC
Plex Media Server is still the most commonly used media server and hardware transcoding can make a modest hardware such as a mini-PC feel like a very powerful piece of hardware.
In this video I will show you how to install Plex Media Server using Docker and Docker Compose.
I will also show you how to enable Hardware Transcoding using Intel QuickSync on Iris Xe graphics card on a Mini PC and compare the performance with and without hardware-based transcoding.
