A season to remember...thank you NUFC!
When I was just a kid, I saw Newcastle United in a hard time. Being a championship team or fighting relegation every season on end. But I supported with every bit of energy in my soul. I will never forget my first season ticket, where we thought we would be relegated...but the takeover happened. And boy did we fight. The season after saw us scoring left, right and centre. An impenetrable defence that made The Bastille a joke! And now, this season, coming to an end, I finally got to see my team in top flight European football. Playing the very best teams. The atmosphere. The passion. The feeling. All experienced in an incredible stadium at the heart of my city. Always a sense of emotion, walking up those steps every home game. Seeing the flags. The laughing. The singing. The little kid all those years ago comes back to life when I get to my seat. Watching those 11 players come out of the tunnel and play for that badge. Thank you Newcastle United, the directors, the players and the coaches. You have made my club come back to life. See you next season, St James' Park!
