"BIRD FOOD" - Behind the Scenes
This short film was basically just an excuse for me to try making some cgi shots in Blender. I had already made a dinosaur for fun and wanted to use it in something.
At first I was just thinking about making a short clip with the dinosaur in it, but then I changed my mind and wanted to make a short film, or at least something that's a bit longer than the original idea.
It was shot in one day and post production took me six weeks. Plus a couple weeks before shooting, creating/animating the bird in the intro. And here you see some of the work behind it.
The birds flying away is based on Ian Huberts "Lazy tutorial" about Moths, but with bird models instead of moths.

All the grass and flowers used was from Andrew Price's (Blender Guru) "Grass Essentials" pack. And I've learned a lot from his tutorails also!
