Cover letter for Canada Visa sample-Explanation letter to CIC
Explanation letter to CIC
To Whom It May Concern,
My name is ABC and I live in Rio De Janeiro Brazil. I'm the father/mother/wife/husband/friend of XYZ (Sponsor person name) who is living in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I'm writing this letter in the hopes of demonstrating why I would like to apply for a visitor visa for Canada. My main purpose of applying for a visitor visa is to visit and spend time with XYZ during Christmas holidays and in the New Year.
I would like to visit Canada for four weeks, starting from 23rd Dec. 2017 to 21st Jan.2018. My plan is to spend some quality time with XYZ (daughter /son/ spouse/friend name). Christmas holidays are the time of the year we need to have family members to celebrate Christmas and enjoy holiday’s seasons. XYZ just joined his current company in mid-August and his position involves a higher level of responsibility so his company is not allowing him/her to take a vacation during the Christmas holidays. Since she/he is unable to take vacation we have no choice but to apply for visitor visa for Canada.
During my visit, I plan to have to live in Toronto, Ontario, where he/she will take care of all expenses, including food, living expenses utilities, transportation, and entertainment. He has four years of experience as a Software Developer and currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at XZY Company with a salary of about 50,000 a year with a healthy bank balance, and no debts. On weekdays, he will continue to work while I stay at his house so that he will continue to have an income during my stay.
On weekend, we have planned to visit some of the well-known places. We plan on taking a trip to Niagara Falls together during Christmas long weekend and during the New Year weekend we have the plan to visit Toronto downtown and CN tower. XYZ will cover Niagara Falls trip expenses while the Toronto Downtown trip is only a few hours drive. XYZ will be my only source of transportation, so I will not have to spend on a cab or public transit. XYZ will also buy me a private health insurance during my stay. Any extra funds that I'm bringing to Canada will likely only be used as a last resort, as XYZ has a stable job and salary, and will take care of all expenses.
I understand that I currently have a family class permanent residence application on-going with XYZ, and it doesn't mean that I'll overstay my visitor visa and not return home I've lived in Brazil almost my entire life; I have all of my friends and immediate family members living here. Moreover, my brother just graduated from the university with distinction and convocation day will be on January.2018. (See attached documents) It will be a proud moment for my family and me to see my one and only brother walk up onto the stage and receive his engineering degree. I have always inspired and guided my brother to get the best result in exams, so will be honored for me seeing him to get the degree. There is no way I can miss this occasion, also I have promised him to be there on his convocation day.
Another reason is that my cousin’s wedding is coming and it will be on end of Feb.2018, my uncle and his family are coming from the US for my cousin’s marriage. I have been waiting for this marriage since last year and we are really excited about this marriage. My family ties strong back home, and I will absolutely return home much earlier before my visa expires.
I hope this letter will help to convince you of my genuine desire to visit and leaving Canada at end of my stay.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
ABC
