British Columbians are working hard to minimize the spread of the COVID-19 virus. However, with the pandemic still ongoing, it is important to understand the risk factors for COVID-19, especially in individuals with immunosuppression.
Dr. Antonio Aviña-Zubieta, a senior scientist of rheumatology at Arthritis Research Canada, and a group of researchers at the organization are exploring these risk factors and the outcomes of COVID-19 in order to help Canadians live better, longer lives.
