4G Internet Now In Underground Tunnels
4G Internet is now available, on the tube! In the tunnels and on the station platforms deep underound on the Jubilee line a trial has started between Westminster and Canning Town meaning that your phone should have a full 4G signal and you'll be able to use it exactly if you were above ground.
I popped along to try it out, before it went live to the public.
This has in part come about because of a new goverment Emergency Services Network (ESN) being installed on the Underground, so it was possible to install a public network at the same time.
