Shilu and Joe, the GetxGo creators, put the prototype GO Kit & READY packs to some real world use this past weekend.
They brought the bags to go out to Bandelier National Monument and up to the summit of Atalaya Mountain. Having quick access to first aid, battery charging, cables, food, and more was super convenient in addition to the multipurpose use the READY Pack backpacks provided. Shilu used the document pouch to store her laptop during the flights and in transit. The waterproof READY Pack backpack proved to be exceptionally durable in all conditions with a large storage capacity. The fire-resistant READY Pack backpack was great for its light weight and easy access with full clamshell opening.
One key takeaway this past weekend was demonstrated through the GetxGo Kits intentional subtle design. All the functionality and readiness was there, without loud crisis oriented colors, huge logo branding, or big typical first aid crosses, they blended in perfectly without tipping off the public to the fact that you have supplies they might want! That is expressly the GetxGo intention.
Everyone should travel with some form of an emergency kit or supplies just in case anything happens. Having the GetxGo kits proved to be a great resource and companion on the road!
