Slides - Blender 2.8 Video Sequencer tutorial (quick tip)
You may find this simple tutorial useful, it is based on a simple strip order and a little organization.
It is possible to make these slides even with fewer strips, but one issue occurs when strip uses proxies, transform strip, in this case, acts as a solver.
These slides are, in general, useful for simple video editing, as for advanced animation, it requires more additional motion effects, which does not yet exist, but could be found as a plugin, I think.
